 More than 300,000 visitors made Bright Nights at Forest Park, now in its 8th year, part of their holiday tradition, bringing the total number of people who have seen this seasonal event to two million. More than 500,000 twinkling lights will dazzle you as you wind along the 2½-mile drive-through holiday extravaganza. From the Friday before Thanksgiving through the Sunday after New Year’s Day, historic Forest Park is illuminated with a celebration of the multi-cultural fabric of Springfield. The young and the young at heart will be enchanted by Toy Land, North Pole Village, Seuss Land and dozens of other holiday scenes. You’ll be enchanted too! |
